Took about 45 minutes to put together and looks exactly as represented....even the chain is pink! , and for those of us who need comfort the seat is good. I was pleased that $10 of price went to the Susan G. Komen cancer research project. I knew what I was getting, not a serious road or mountain bike, just a single speed cruiser. I wanted a bike that was cute and fun, and specifically was looking for something pink. Even the chain is pink! The details are lovely...flowers and hummingbirds...they are stickers though, so not sure of their long term durability. Overall, this fit the bill for me. Really like the fact that a portion of the purchase goes to a worthy cause. My husband put the bike together in about 15 minutes. I started using right away, no issues thus far after several days of using. It's exactly what i was looking for, and would suggest to others. It is a basic, no frills bike and comes partly assembled. You have to screw on the pedals, seat, handlebars and front wheel. Very easy to do. I did find a screw and nut loose in the carton so check the box carefully for loose parts. The tires needed to be filled with air before I could ride it, so a pump was necessary.The bike rides very smoothly and looks good too! I get many 'nice bike' comments from people. It comes with all the necessary reflectors required by law. I wanted a good starter bike to see if biking around town for errands and recreation was for me. Biking is for me and after more practice with this bike I will upgrade to a more sophisticated bike with gears. (I live in San Francisco and some of the hills in my neighborhood are gonna give me a heart attack) I love this bike and I do recommend this bike for anyone wanting a simple, easy to assemble bike. It made me feel like a kid again! |
